  Keith A. Johnson, MD

Keith A. Johnson, MD, received his MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, and a residency in internal medicine at Northwestern University, the Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed residency training in neurology in the Harvard-Longwood Neurology Training Program and research training in neuroimaging at Massachusetts General Hospital. He was a Fellow of the American Heart Association and of the French Foundation for Alzheimer Research. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Radiology, Harvard Medical School, and Associate in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, at Massachusetts General Hospital where he oversees clinical neuroimaging with FDG-PET. He is also Associate Physician in Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and at Massachusetts General Hospital, both in Boston. He is a practicing neurologist in the Brigham Behavioral Neurology Group and the Memory Disorders Clinic. Dr Johnson has investigated, written, and lectured extensively on neurodegenerative disease, including early diagnosis, particularly as it relates to neuroimaging.
