Ian G. McKeith, MD, BS, FRC(Psych), FMed Sci (UK), is Clinical Professor of Old Age Psychiatry at the Institute for Ageing and Health at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in England where he is Head of the Brain Ageing and Dementia Research Group. Dr McKeith qualified from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1977. He became a fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences in 2004. Dr McKeith serves as a reviewer for Lancet, the British Medical Journal, Neurology, Dementia and Geriatric Cognitive Disorders, the American Journal of Psychiatry, and the European Journal of Neurology, among others. He is also Assistant Editor for the British Journal of Psychiatry, the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, Age and Ageing, Progress in Neurology and Psychiatry, and Alzheimer’s Disease and Associated Disorders. Dr McKeith’s interests include the diagnosis and management of dementia with Lewy bodies. |
